Carnival and feting are here to stay. Instead of suppressing the industry and creating annual chaos, Trinidad and Tobago should build a dedicated FĂȘte & Events City at Wallerfield.

Frankie Boodram Wallerfield International Raceway
The land and infrastructure already exist. A purpose built, self contained events hub, with multiple halls, proper traffic flows, parking, shuttles, hotels, and restaurants, would eliminate noise and congestion in residential and business districts.
Tourists would check in, fete, and stay on site for Carnival week, just like international ski villages. Residents get peace, businesses get normal access, and Carnival becomes professionally managed.
Stop managing chaos. Design for it.
