Thirty six long sad years from the Tragedy and still no sign of a law
In spite of Toolmaker’s Starmer’s promises to do so many times before
He is now trying to justify the further delay with more procrastination
Which is a big insult to the families who have been so far very patient
The dignity, class and fortitude from all the families has been so immense
But the delay to legislate by all governments makes little or no sense
The 36th Anniversary would have been perfect for the overdue law
So the lack of any urgency by the Government is really very poor
So much for the promises from Starmer pre election to legislate
But now they are in government he just sadly continues to procrastinate
No doubt it will again be kicked into the long grass as is the usual case
Which is a real insult to the 97 with this delayed bureaucratic disgrace
April 2025.

So here we are in 2026 still waiting for the politicians to pass the law
As they still argue over minor details while the families still have to endure
What an absolute disgrace after nearly forty long years of waiting
Listening to the House of Commons wasting so much time just debating
The 97 red souls and their families deserve so much better than this
The Politicians have let them all down badly in the pursuit of Justice
