Cabinet must recognize that the nation is watching with growing concern as standards of professionalism, decorum, and leadership continue to erode in the halls of the Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago.
At a time when young citizens observe proceedings on the Parliament Channel, and interviews on TV 6, they should be seeing role models who respect consultation, accountability, and statesmanship, not dismissive attitudes from officials, suggesting consultation is unnecessary.
Parliamentary privilege must never become a shield for arrogance; leadership demands example, and the country is now judging the true character of those entrusted to govern.
