Home of murdered State Witness torched

The house of a slain State witness was torched on Thursday night.

The house belonged to State witness Ikesha Wildman who was stabbed to death on October 6, 2025.

According to reports, a group of men dressed in police uniforms, approached the house. One man used a sledgehammer to break into the premises at Theresa Street Extension, Marabella. Within seconds after the door was smashed, a group of six men entered the premises.

Seconds later, the house was set on fire and the men escaped. Unknown to the group of men, there was a camera perched on a tree which captured the entire incident.

Wildman, 43, also known as Freeda, was stabbed at her home at around 7:30 p.m. on October 6, 2025. She was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries at approximately 7:55 p.m.

Police reportedly responded to an anonymous report of a wounding.

Crime Scene Investigators recovered several items of evidence from the scene.

Wildman was a State witness in the murder investigation involving her brother, Atiba Wildman, who was killed at Old Train Line, Marabella.

Atiba Wildman was murdered on May 21, 2022. One man was charged in connection with this murder.  The circumstances surrounding the reported burning of the house remain under investigation.
