An International manhunt is on for a fourth suspect who fled this country after the murder of Municipal Police Corporal, Anuska Eversley.
So far three persons have been charged with the murder.
On Thursday, Commissioner of Police, Allister Guevarro, at a media conference, said the international manhunt is on for the fourth suspect following the murder and the theft of dozens of firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition from the San Fernando Municipal Police Station.
CoP Guevarro confirmed that an Interpol Red Notice has officially been issued for the suspect, who investigators believe fled Trinidad and Tobago following the brutal killing.
Corporal Eversley, 42, was found dead on April 19th, 2026, inside the San Fernando Municipal Police Station at King’s Wharf.
Since the murder, investigators have charged three people in connection with the killing while continuing searches for additional suspects tied to the case and the missing weapons.
On April 26, Municipal Police Constable Jivon “Biggs” Cooper, 28, of La Sophie Trace, Claxton Bay; Kwame Arnold, 20, of Lodge Road, Claxton Bay; and Nicholas “Nico” Ramdass, 24, also of Lodge Road, Claxton Bay, were remanded into custody by High Court Master Delicia Bethelmy.
Police have so far recovered 44 firearms and more than 900 rounds of ammunition, most of which were reportedly found in the Claxton Bay district during coordinated police operations.
CoP Guevarro said investigators remain committed to recovering the remaining weapons and tracking down every individual connected to the operation.
It was reported that more than 100 guns and 4,000 rounds of ammunition were stolen.
