Five Spanish-speaking Home Invaders escaped with $1 million in jewellery from a home in Felicity on Monday morning.
They also escaped with other items from a couple.
The drama unfolded around 3.15 a.m. on Monday at a house at Cacandee Road, Felicity.
The home owner, aged 36, told the police he and his companion, aged 50, had gone to bed around 10 p.m. on Sunday after securing the house.
Several hours later, they were awaken by the sound of glass shattering downstairs. Moments later, footsteps were heard coming up the stairs.
The couple was then confronted by five men, all armed and speaking Spanish.
Police said the intruders tied the victims’ hands and feet with tie straps before demanding cash and their phones.
The victims complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of money.
The bandits reportedly also seized three Samsung phones, including two Galaxy S26 Ultras worth a combined $17,000 and a Galaxy S22 Ultra valued at $4,000, along with jewellery valued at more than $1 million.
After raiding the home, the men escaped through the broken window and disappeared.
Police are continuing investigations. No arrests have been made.
