The Foreshore has good visibility & easy ticket collection

Government appears to be placing these new speed detection devices where they are easiest to operate and most profitable to enforce rather than where the greatest danger to human life actually exists.

The public is asking a simple and legitimate question: when last did the Foreshore experience the kind of repeated fatal crashes, horrific pileups and deadly speeding tragedies that continue to plague sections of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway?

If the true objective is saving lives instead of creating another revenue stream, then enforcement resources should be concentrated on the nation’s proven accident corridors where families are actually being killed, not on stretches of roadway chosen for convenience, visibility and easy ticket collection while the real highway dangers remain inadequately addressed.
