ANGOSTURA COMMENDS OUTSTANDING EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND SPIRIT OF COLLABORATION

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. October 25, 2026: The Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS) remained on site throughout the night, monitoring and managing the affected area following Saturday’s fire at the neighbouring TSTT compound. The TTFS will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary. Angostura Limited remains in close communication with the relevant authorities.

Angostura extends its sincere appreciation to the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS), Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC), Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA), Trinidad and Tobago Regiment, Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), and Industrial Rubber Products (IRP) for their swift response and coordinated efforts. We particularly acknowledge IRP for providing firefighting foam, which supported efforts to bring the blaze under control.

We also commend Angostura’s employees and leadership who remained on site throughout the emergency, actively assisting and supporting the response efforts. Their dedication, professionalism and responsiveness were recognised and commended by senior officers of the TTFS.

This incident reinforces the importance of partnership, preparedness and collective responsibility. It is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when organisations and individuals unite in the face of adversity.

To every responder, partner and member of the Angostura family who played a part, we say a heartfelt thank you.
