Police Kill Home Invader in Central
Another home invader has been killed!
Police say they responded to a report that a man was seen entering premises at Petersfield, Chaguanas. Members of the Central Division Task Force responded to the report around 5 am on Wednesday and found a man inside the premises.
When they called out to him, he reportedly pointed a gun in the direction of the police. The officers responded and the home invader was shot and subsequently died.
The investigating officers seized a revolver. Based on initial reports, the dead man, who is yet to be identified, was a suspect in a number of home invasions in the Chaguanas and Felicity areas.
Investigations are continuing.
